Born in Southern Indiana, Ken Goodman spent a large part of
his childhood on his grandparents’ farm in Dugger. Perhaps
due to his Native American heritage (Potawatomi and Miami),
he has always revered the land and wildlife. This is reflected
in his paintings of landscapes, flowers, and animals.
Mr. Goodman studied art at the Chicago Art Institute. In
addition, he has studied independently and with several noted
artists.
He is a member of Artists and Crafters of Porter County
(Chesterton Art League), Tall Grass Arts Association, South
Shore Arts Association, Wilmette Arts Guild, and Indianapolis
Art Center. He serves on the Board of Directors of
Chesterton Art Center.

the Hobart Parks Department’s Art-in-the-Park Program, the Northern Indiana Arts

opened a studio/gallery in the Calumet Township area of Northwest Indiana.
